CO2 GRO initiates a CO2 Delivery Solutions commercial feasibility for The Cucumber Man in Alberta

CO2 GRO Inc (CVE:GROW) (OTCQB:BLONF) (FRA:4021) has announced the start of a commercial feasibility of its CO2 Delivery Solutions system at The Cucumber Man, a greenhouse grower based in Alberta.   CO2 GRO said the commercial feasibility’s goals include increasing tomato fruit yield, reducing the potential spread of pathogens, and lowering overall production costs, which is expected to lead to increased profitability.  “We are very excited to work with The Cucumber Man as our first client in Alberta. We are confident they will see a significant yield improvement during the warmer months when they vent CO2 gas,” Aaron Archibald, CO2 GRO vice president of Sales & Strategic Alliances said in a statement. READ: CO2 GRO dedicated to increasing the growth and value of all indoor plants “The commercial feasibility at the Cucumber Man is another high technology greenhouse that is interested to quantify the yield improvements, CO2 gas use savings and pathogen suppression generated by our CO2 Delivery Solutions,” Archibald added. “We believe that as our marketing and sales initiatives expand, we will see more high technology greenhouse growers that gas CO2 wish to explore the many benefits our CO2 Delivery Solutions can provide to them.” CO2 GRO noted that the commercial feasibility will be conducted in three acres of The Cucumber Man’s 12-acre greenhouse facility on beefsteak, cocktail and grape tomatoes for a term of one year. The Cucumber Man president Wayne Stigter also commented, stating: “The increased yield and profit potential of CO2 GRO’s technology is very appealing. Equally attractive is the opportunity to target a fraction of our current CO2 usage to the benefit of plant, without wasting a significant amount to the outside atmosphere. Reducing our carbon footprint is important to us and our customers.” CO2 Gro’s CO2 Delivery Solutions helps all greenhouses achieve up to 30% more plant yield consistently throughout the year. In addition, aqueous CO2 misting offers pathogen Perimeter Protection for plants by slowing the spread of micro pathogens such as E. coli and powdery mildew. The company’s 2021 target market is the 50 billion square feet of greenhouses and covered cultivation facilities globally – 80% of which cannot use CO2 gassing due to heat venting, porosity or CO2 usage cost.
