Brussels probes Google-Meta secret ads deal targeting teens, FT reports
(Reuters) – European regulators have asked Google (NASDAQ:GOOGL) for more information about a secret advertising partnership with Meta (NASDAQ:META), which ignored the search company’s own rules on how minors should be treated online, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday.
Officials have been looking into a series of ad campaigns promoting social media platform Instagram to teenagers, the report said, citing people familiar with the matter.
